A practical sequence for an ERP go-live
19 September 2026Administrator
Feature lists do not go live. Teams do. The sequence below is what we run with manufacturers and service businesses so the first production week is quiet.
1. Freeze the process, not the wish list
Write the happy path for the two or three flows that pay the bills. Everything else waits. A short process is easier to train and easier to roll back.
2. Clean only the data you will transact
Opening stock, open orders, and active customers. Historical dumps can follow. Dirty masters on day one cost more than a delayed archive.
3. Train on the live path
People remember the screen they will click on Monday. Classroom tours of unused menus do not stick.
If you want that walkthrough on your own data, book a demo and we will map this sequence to your plant or warehouse.
